Personalized Shot Glasses - Perfect Party Favors

Posted in party favors by groomsmengiftsideas ~ Leave a Comment

If you’re young and you like to party, personalized shot glasses are awesome. You can personalize them with your names and party date (most likely a wedding date) for ultimate coolness. They make great favors. You can get them imprinted with your names and date and then later you fill them with candies. Take a circle of mesh and put underneath the filled shot glass. Pull the sides upwards and tie with a ribbon and add any decoration you’d like to the ribbon. These make for a substantial favor that you will be proud to give. Your guests will be able to save the glass later as a keepsake of your special event. These make great groomsmen gifts too.

Discount Groomsmen Gifts

You need not sacrifice quality when you buy discount groomsmen gifts. Just because the price is lower than all the full price mall stores around town does not mean the quality is lower. Mall stores pay a huge overhead in rent to be in the local mall. These stores are paying for all the foot traffic of people passing by. Internet stores don’t have this expense. Thus, discount prices can be offered without cheapening the product quality.

Groomsmen Gifts - Cufflinks

Cufflinks are an old favorite in terms of groomsmen gifts. Most men are donning a tuxedo possibly for the first time at their friend’s wedding if they’ve been asked to be a groomsman or best man. Cufflinks complete the look and are accessories to formal attire that last a lifetime. You can even get sports team logo cufflinks, letters, animals or novelty designs.

Best Man Gifts

Best man gifts are easy if you take this approach: get the best man the same gift as the other groomsmen gifts. If you don’t want guys to compare gifts and possibly complain, then go this route. It’s just easier that way and no one gets upset. On the chance that someone gets upset with this scenario, it might only be the best man. But at least then you only have one complainer to deal with and not all of your groomsmen.

Groomsmen Gifts - Don’t Delay

Many guys seem to leave groomsmen gifts purchases to the last possible week before their wedding. Don’t punish yourself with high expedite fees and overnight shipping fees. Get this shopping out of the way two months before you wedding date. Ideally, you’ll be handing out the gifts to your guys at either the bachelor party or the rehearsal dinner. Don’t do nothing or wait so long that you have nothing to give your buddies. They deserve a thank you.

Beer Mugs as Groomsmen Gifts

Glass beer mugs with personalization are cool groomsmen gifts choices. What guy doesn’t like drinking beer for a frosty cold glass mug. Keep your glass in the freezer when not in use and then when you’re ready to pop the top of a longneck bottle, you’ll have a nice chilly glass ready and waiting to go.

My Best Man is a Dummy

I should have thought a little bit harder about groomsmen gifts. I thought I would go with flasks and I would be a hero. Well, my best man Jim is a dummy. He was “the keeper of the money” for me on my wedding day so I could get the church paid and pay final deposits to a couple vendors. Oh sure, he loved the flask I gave him at the bachelor party. He used it that night and showed up drunk to the rehearsal dinner. I was like “Jim, dude, you are out of control. Try not to FFFF up my wedding, ok?” And Jim was “Dude, no problem. I won’t do anything to mess things up.”

He did. He brought his favorite flask to the wedding and kept it fully loaded in his pocket. I didn’t realize this until he breathed his booze breath on me when he came to tell me he lost the cash for the church. I had to ask my mom for the money and she was pretty miffed. But, the show must go on, right? Then, at the reception, and I kid you not, he bumped his big idiot elbow into the side of our 4 tiered cake. My bride looked like she was going to have a heart attack. Luckily he did not knock the whole thing down.

Lesson learned: Only give liquor flasks to your responsible friends, not your idiot friends. Am I the only one that had a bad experience with a best man or groomsmen? I would love to hear your sorry ass stories so I don’t feel like such a chump.

Luminox Watches - Glow in the Dark Groomsmen Gifts

If you’ve ever had a supposed “glow in the dark” watch where the watch company claims that you can easily see the markers in the dark, I’m sure you’ve been disappointed. Most have a tritium coating which is supposed to glow but that’s a stretch. For true luminescent markers, the only watches I’ve ever seen that exceed all expectations and will leave you loving them are Luminox watches. The markers have a gas in them that really does work and glow. They are not overpriced either. Perfect gift for a groom-to-be, graduate, dad, best man, etc.

Wedding Flask - Tipsy Groomsmen Gifts Idea

Flasks are wildly popular for wedding attendant gifts such as groomsmen gifts or bridesmaids gifts. Many wedding receptions are on a budget and have a limited or pay-for-your-own-alcohol-drinks bar set up. Those that like to party and don’t want to pay high prices definitely appreciate flasks. Neat engraved flasks with your wedding date and recipient name called the Wedding Flask are great choices for tipsy groomsmen gifts. Your buddies will love them and will use them again and again. At $30 each with all the engraving, they are quite reasonably priced as well.
